Hamilton County is 18th Fastest-Growing in the Country

HAMILTON COUNTY, IN – From 2000 to 2005, Hamilton County, Indiana had a 32 percent increase in population, making it the 18th fastest-growing county in the country. There are many attractive features alluring home buyers to Hamilton County, including top-ranked schools, convenient parks and other great amenities.

On the east side of Hamilton County, Brooks Park, an Asset Midwest community, for example, accommodates custom home builders looking to live the Geist experience. Home owners in this community have all the conveniences of the Indianapolis metro area plus the luxury of the Geist Reservoir. A new development on the west side of Hamilton County in Carmel, Indiana, Saddlebrook at Shelborne, also an Asset Midwest community, offers nature trails, open spaces and close proximity to West Park and Coxhall Gardens.

Multiple golf courses dot Hamilton County, including Crooked Stick, where John Daly won the 1991 PGA Championship. Excellent school districts, fine shopping and the proximity to a growing metropolitan city have made Hamilton County a desired location.

Clay Terrace, a unique outdoor shopping mall in the heart of Hamilton County between Carmel and Westfield, opened by Simon Property Group in 2004, has brought convenience even closer to the Hamilton County consumers. They have also announced plans for an upscale regional mall in Saxony, a new–urbanist community just north of the Geist Reservoir, bringing even more opportunities to the growing area.
